Bridge of Tomorrow
World Media Festivals - Gold Medal (Television & Corporate Media)
An ambitious plan is underway to ease Cebu’s notorious
traffic woes. Manoeuvring around traditional fishing
grounds as well as fragile mangrove forests, the
8.9 kilometre long Cebu Cordova Link Expressway will be the longest and tallest bridge ever built in the country. We witness the challenges a team of engineers and designers face as they embark on a mission to complete a new icon for the region, a bridge of tomorrow for the Philippines.
In Plain Sight
New York Festivals 2024 - Finalist
A three-part documentary series that provides an intimate
look into the lives of four visually impaired (VI) students in
Singapore – their daily navigation of school life, their interactions with non-VI peers, and the unique challenges they face. We gain insights from the children, their families, and school staff, shedding light on their coping mechanisms, support systems, and how they balance academic pressures with societal expectations. This series aims to reveal the untold stories of these extraordinary children living among us.
Lost Waterfronts
Quirky animation retells some little-known history of Singapore’s former coastlines and waterfronts which now lie under man-made landscapes like Marine Parade, Changi Airport and MBS. This hour-long documentary peels open intriguing stories, now brought back to life with quirky animation. Why did the Dutch and Portuguese battle off the coast of Tanah Merah in 1603, why did the Okinawans come to prewar Siglap and help to create a local food tradition, why was early day Singapore full of ‘mountains’ and how did they get destroyed?
